Since 2004, when Marie-Josée is not working as a strategic consultant for executives, she has been creating. The strategy and creative thinking service she offers her clients then applies to her own artistic endeavors. Her work has been recognized in Women in Photography International – a Tribute to Cartier-Bresson and at the International Photography Awards in Los Angeles, a competition that has honored her work on two occasions. Between 2007 and 2011, Marie-Josée dedicated herself to developing Les Rencontres photographiques du Palais Montcalm©, where short stories mix with large black and white images. She designed, developed and directed the entire project, where the likes of Karina Gauvin, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Joe Lovano, John Pizzarelli, Zachary Richard, Suzanne Vega, Alain Lefèvre, Montserrat Figueras and Jordi Savall and some 15 other artists from here and abroad filed past her lens. A limited edition numbered from 1 to 30 is now available on request. Marie-Josée is already talking about her new project, Seul son coiffeur le sait, in which she explores the unique relationship that exists between a very exceptional hairdresser and his customers.
